In March of 2017, Robert Wiedwald and his family were the victims of a residential burglary. During the theft, Robert's Apple iPad was stolen, along with several other items from the home. Having known Robert's attachment to the iPad and how devastated he was from the loss, members of the Manville PBA Local #236 found the need to help young Robert. Through the generosity of the Manville PBA Local #236, a new iPad was purchased and given to Robert along with an MPD patch and baseball hat at Manville Police Headquarters.
