September 1, 2025 2:13 a.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for numerous traffic violations. It was determined the driver, Nelson Garcia (42) of Middlesex, NJ, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently placed under arrest, processed and released on his own recognizance with a future court date.

September 1, 2025 1:43 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a bicycle theft. The bicycles were later found at another residence. Police are actively investigating the theft.

September 4, 2025 1:56 a.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for numerous traffic violations. While conducting their investigation, it was determined the driver, Carlos Zamudio Aguilar (35) of Bridgewater, NJ, was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested, processed and released to a responsible party.

September 4, 2025 7:31 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a motorcycle theft. Patrol spoke with the reporting party who advised that when he went outside in the morning, his motorcycle, which was parked in front of the residence, was no longer there. The motorcycle’s information was entered into the national database for stolen vehicles. Police are actively investigating the incident.

September 4, 2025 10:50 p.m.

Police charged Sameh Aboelata (50) of Ringoes, NJ with theft by deception and forging a document after a six-month long investigation. He was processed and released with a future court date.

September 7, 2025 10:03 p.m.

Police responded to a local residence on the report of a scam. The reporting party advised that she had sent over $10,000 in gift cards over the past two years to someone she met on a social media platform. Police are investigating the incident.

September 8, 2025 9:00 p.m.

Patrol responded to a local residence for a report of a criminal mischief complaint. The reporting party advised they heard a loud bang outside of their residence and observed a dent in their door. Patrol was able to locate video footage of the incident and identify two juveniles who caused the damage. Police are actively investigating the incident.

  September 13, 2025

Police were dispatched to a local residence on the report of a child custody dispute. While attempting to gather information a 59-year-old female was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct, processed and released with a future court date.

September 15, 2025 2:03 p.m.

Police were dispatched to Walmart for a report of two juveniles shoplifting from the store. Police located the juveniles who later fled on foot from patrol. The juveniles were then charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest and provided with future court dates.

September 16, 2025

Police were dispatched to an active domestic dispute involving a male with a knife. Upon arrival, police were able to control the situation and subsequently placed a 40-year-old male under arrest for domestic violence simple assault. The male was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

September 16, 2025

Police were dispatched to a local residence on the report of a domestic dispute. After investigating the incident, police arrested a 45-year-old male for contempt of a domestic violence final restraining order and harassment. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

September 17, 2025 8:58 p.m.

Patrol was dispatched to a local bar for a report of a disorderly male who damaged property belonging to the bar. Police reviewed video surveillance cameras which showed a male repeatedly kick the entrance door causing it to break. The male, Thomas Grigal (43) of Manville, NJ, was placed under arrest, processed and released on a summons with a future court date.

September 21, 2025

Police responded to a local residence for a report of a domestic dispute. After investigating, police arrested a 56-year-old male for domestic violence simple assault. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

September 22, 2025 5:07 a.m.

Patrol was dispatched to a local business for a report of a male being on the property who was not allowed to be there. Police made contact with the male and confirmed that he was formerly given a trespass notice. The male, Derrick Carreker (34) of Manville, NJ, was subsequently arrested for defiant trespassing, processed and released with a future court date.

September 23, 2025 10:10 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a local business on the report of a male acting disorderly in the store. After speaking with all parties, the male, Charles Jones (35) of Manville, NJ, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct as well as a warrant from another jurisdiction. He was processed and released on his own recognizance with a future court date.

 September 24, 2025 2:46 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a burglary that occurred overnight. The victim advised that his vehicle had been broken into during the night and he was missing property that belonged to him. Police checked video surveillance cameras and confirmed that a burglary did take place. Police are actively investigating the incident.

September 25, 2025

Police arrested a 43-year-old male for a domestic violence warrant. He was processed and turned over to the appropriate jurisdiction.

September 26, 2025

Patrol was dispatched to a local residence for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police made contact with the victim who advised she was physically assaulted by her children’s father, who was no longer on scene. A warrant was generated for the 21-year-old male’s arrest, and it was entered into the national database for wanted persons.
