October 1, 2025 5:40 p.m.

Police arrested Duane Holmes (44) of Manville, NJ on an active arrest warrant. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

October 2, 2025

Police arrested a 35-year-old male on a domestic violence contempt warrant. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

October 5, 2025 10:43 a.m.

Police responded to a local residence on the report of a motor vehicle burglary that occurred overnight. Patrol spoke to the reporting party who advised he parked a work truck in front of his residence the night before and when he returned to it, he noticed the front driver’s side window was shattered. After inspecting the inside of the vehicle, he noticed multiple items were taken. Police are actively investigating the incident.

October 5, 2025  3:41 p.m.

Police responded to a local residence on the report of a motor vehicle burglary that occurred overnight. Patrol spoke with the reporting party who advised that his vehicle, which was parked in his driveway, had been broken into and had multiple items missing. Police are actively investigating the incident.

October 6, 2025

Police responded to a local residence in an attempt to locate a wanted person from another jurisdiction. Police located the 36-year-old male and placed him under arrest for a domestic violence warrant. He was processed and turned over to the appropriate jurisdiction.

October 7, 2025

Police responded to a local residence on the report of a domestic violence restraining order violation. The reporting party advised that an individual had violated an active restraining order. Police investigated the claim and subsequently charged a 43-year-old male with contempt of a domestic violence restraining order. He was later served with the warrant and transported to Somerset County Jail.

October 14, 2025  10:10 p.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for numerous traffic violations. It was determined the driver, Chakravar Thathaiyangarpatti (60) of Hillsborough, NJ, was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently placed under arrest, processed and turned over to a responsible party.

October 15, 2025  4:10 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a residential area on the report of a solicitor going door to door. Upon arrival, police located a male matching the description given to them who advised that he was in fact soliciting without a Borough permit. Brian Ordonez-Cabrera (24) of Elizabeth, NJ was subsequently issued a summons for soliciting without a permit and was sent on his way with a future court date.

October 17, 2025 12:55 p.m.

Police were dispatched to a local convenience store on the report of a physical altercation currently taking place on the premises. Upon arrival, police were advised that a male had attacked another male for no apparent reason and that the aggressor in the situation had fled the scene. The fleeing male, Tobias Kinlaw (45) of Manville, NJ, was located shortly after and placed under arrest for simple assault. He was processed and released with a future court date.

October 18, 2025  11:31 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a local business on the report of a theft that occurred the day before. Police spoke with the victim who advised that he stopped to talk to an unknown female in a vehicle parked on the street. While talking to the female she placed a gold necklace around his neck and a gold bracelet on his wrist. Prior to leaving she took the victim’s actual necklace and bracelet from him without him knowing and the vehicle left the area. Police are actively investigating the theft.

October 18, 2025

Police were notified that another police department had a male in their custody for a Manville domestic violence warrant. Police responded to the appropriate police department and placed the 21-year-old male under arrest. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

October 19, 2025

Police responded to a local residence on the report of a criminal mischief complaint. Police spoke with the victim who advised his ex-girlfriend had damaged property in his residence. A 36-year-old female was charged with domestic violence criminal mischief.

Oct. 24, 2025

Police responded to a local residence on the report of an active domestic dispute. After conducting their investigation, a 49-year-old male was arrested for contempt of a domestic violence restraining order. It was also determined that the male had an active warrant for his arrest due to a prior domestic violence incident. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

October 25, 2025  11:28 p.m.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for traffic violations. It was determined the driver, Cristina Bonilla-Juarez (34) of South Bound Brook, NJ, was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested, processed and released to a responsible party.

October 30, 2025 4:06 p.m.

Patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop for traffic violations. It was determined the driver, Aiden Hall (18) of Lebanon, NJ, had an active warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently arrested, processed and released on his own recognizance with a future court date.

October 30, 2025 10:09 p.m.

Police located a wanted person, sleeping in a vehicle. Massenia Chiles (43) of Washington, NJ was placed under arrest for the active warrant. While searching the female, police located illegal narcotics on her person. Due to the totality of the circumstances, police obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and located a quantity of illegal narcotics inside of the vehicle.  Chiles was processed, charged with distribution of C.D.S. crimes and transported to Somerset County Jail.
