Patrol conducted a pedestrian stop on a male for jaywalking. It was determined the male, Derrick Hall (34) of Manville, NJ had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and later released on his own recognizance with a new court date.
March 4, 2024 11:35 a.m.
Patrol was dispatched to a local residence on the report of a motor vehicle burglary that happened sometime during the night. The resident advised that an unknown individual took his wallet which contained his driver’s license and multiple credit cards from his vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.
March 4, 2024 1:17 p.m.
Patrol spoke with a resident who advised that she noticed her rear license plate had been stolen from her vehicle. The license plate was entered into the national database for stolen property. Police are investigating the incident.
March 5, 2024 8:43 a.m.
Police arrest Christopher Hill (36) of New Ringgold, PA on an active warrant. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.
March 5, 2024 4:10 p.m.
Police spoke to a local resident who advised that an Amazon driver took a FedEx package off of his front porch. Police are actively investigating the incident.
March 6, 2024 2:57 p.m.
Patrol responded to a local residence for a report of a motor vehicle burglary that occurred overnight. Police spoke with the resident who advised that an unknown actor took her wallet which contained her driver’s license and prescribed medications out of her vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.
March 7, 2024 8:30 a.m.
Patrol was dispatched to Dunkin’ Donuts on the report of an unruly male who was harassing employees and refusing to leave the store. Police arrived and spoke to the staff as well as the individual. He was advised by police that he was no longer allowed in the store and order was restored.
March 8, 2024 10:07 a.m.
Police were dispatched to Walmart on the report of a male shoplifter who attempted to leave the store with a flat screen television. Upon arrival, patrol arrested Jerry Cenesca (43) of Manville, NJ for shoplifting. He was charged, processed and released with a court date.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for numerous violations. Upon making contact with the driver, Mauricio Bonilla (26) of New Brunswick, NJ, it was determined he had an active warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently arrested and turned over to New Brunswick Police Department for further processing.

Patrol responded to a local residence for a domestic disturbance. After investigating the incident a 43 year-old male was later charged for trespassing and harassment after being told by police to leave the residence.

Police responded to a local residence for a criminal mischief and stolen property complaint. Upon arrival, patrol spoke to the landlord of the residence who advised that she noticed numerous items of her’s missing and damaged. Police are actively investigating the incident.
March 10, 2024 9:39 p.m.
Police arrested Junior Suriel-Gonzalez (37) of Manville, NJ in regards to an incident that occurred the month prior. After reviewing video surveillance footage of the incident, he was charged with aggravated assault. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.
March 11, 2024 4:11 p.m.
A 34-year-old female turned herself into to police after learning she had a warrant for her arrest. She was processed and released on her own recognizance with a future court date.
March 12, 2024 11:43 a.m.
Patrol was dispatched to a local residence for a neighbor dispute over a parking space. Upon arrival, police spoke with each party separately and were able to resolve the issue for both parties involved.
March 14, 2024 9:01 p.m.
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a homeless female repeatedly knocking on a family member’s front door. Upon arrival, police spoke with the family members who advised they did not want the female staying with them. Police contacted social services and were able to make arrangements for the female to have a place to stay for the time being.
March 16, 2024 11:05 p.m.
Police arrested Kazier Thigpen (30) of Bridgewater, NJ on an outstanding warrant. He was processed and released on his own recognizance with a future court date.
March 19, 2024 6:49 p.m.
Police responded to a local building after receiving a complaint that bicycles were hidden behind it. Upon arrival, police located four juvenile males on top of the building and they subsequently were ordered off of the roof. Their parents were contacted and all were advised that they were being trespassed from the building. The juveniles were turned over to their parents.
March 20, 2024 3:59 p.m.
Patrol was dispatched to a local residence regarding an issue a resident had with a contractor. The resident advised that he paid a contractor to repair his front porch and he was not satisfied with the result of the repairs. He was advised of the proper procedures to file a claim in civil court.
March 24, 2024 12:35 a.m.
Patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop for numerous infractions. After the vehicle stopped for the officer, the driver put the vehicle in reverse and backed into the patrol car. Police then conducted field sobriety tests on the driver, Megan Gardner (28) of Bound Brook, NJ and found her to be under the influence while driving. She was placed under arrest, processed and released to a responsible party.
March 25, 2024 8:49 a.m.
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a fraud complaint. The caller advised that a contractor that he hired had charged his credit card without his authorization. Police are actively investigating the incident.
March 26, 2024 8:50 a.m.
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a scam. The caller reported that she wired money to an individual who was posing as their travel agent. Police are investigating the incident.
March 26, 2024 11:37 a.m.
Patrol spoke with an individual who advised he believed his car was stolen. Police helped the individual search for the vehicle and it was later located on another street.
March 27, 2024 8:33 p.m.
Police responded to Walmart on the report of a 2 year-old juvenile that was separated from her parents. Upon arrival, patrol helped locate her mother and they were reunited.

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, they were met by a male who advised that his fiancé struck him with her car after a verbal argument. The 31 year-old female was subsequently placed under arrest and processed.
March 30, 2024 4:45 a.m.
Patrol was dispatched to a local business for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, patrol located a male inside the store. When the male noticed the officer he immediately ran out of the back of the business and a foot pursuit ensued. Police located the male shortly after and determined he was a juvenile. He was placed under arrest for burglary, theft, and possession of burglary tools. His parents were contacted regarding the incident and he was released to them. The investigation is ongoing.

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a motor vehicle burglary that occurred overnight. Police spoke with the resident who advised that an unknown actor broke into his vehicle and also stole both license plates off of the car. Police are investigating the incident.
